Oghenekaro Etebo In Talks With NFF Over Availability For World Cup Qualifier CD Feirense striker Oghenekaro Etebo has opened a line of communication with the Super Eagles backroom staff regarding his availability for the upcoming World Cup qualifier against Zambia.

The Nigeria U23 star is in the plans of Nigeria coach Rohr but remains doubtful for the fixture in Ndola despite resuming full training at the start of this week because of residence permit issues.

“Etebo spoke with the Super Eagles Team Secretary Dayo Enebi Achor on Tuesday and informed him of the challenges he is facing to come for the match, ” a top source told allnigeriasoccer.com.

“ We are expecting the coach Rohr to contact him soon, so the situation can be resolved. ”

It would be recalled that Porto defender Chidozie Awaziem could not make his international debut against Mali back in May because he was stuck in Portugal processing his residence permit.

In Etebo’s case, the Portuguese authorities have assured him that the document can only be ready as from next month.
