Manchester City Striker Iheanacho Hits Super Eagles Camp On Tuesday
Published: October 03, 2016
Kelechi Iheanacho will hit the Super Eagles Bolton White Hotels and Apartments camp in Abuja on Tuesday, October 4, according to his father.
It is known that a number of players named in the 23-man roster have no plans to honour the call-up because the Nigerian Federation instructed them they will be responsible for their traveling expenses and will be refunded when they get to Nigeria.
When quizzed, Kelechi’s dad, James Iheanacho, has reiterated that the Manchester City striker is not linked to the cynical plan.
“I have been in touch with Kelechi, he is coming from England and will be in Nigeria tomorrow morning. I called him and he said he will be available for the game ( against Zambia), ” James Iheanacho told allnigeriasoccer.com.
The 20-year-old Iheanacho is the top scorer of Nigeria’s A Team in 2016, with three goals to his name.
