Porto Teen Sensation Awaziem Named Among Top 40 Talented Teenagers In The World

Porto defender Chidozie Awaziem has been named among the top 40 talented teenagers in the world.
The former Super Eagles invitee has been recognized by UK tabloid Mirror , who published a list of ten top teenagers in each position that is goalkeepers, defenders, midfielders and strikers.
Aged 19, Awaziem broke into the first team of Porto in the second half of last season, and went on to play 13 matches in all competitions for the Portuguese powerhouse.
“Chidozie moved to Europe to join Porto in 2014 and, after a successful spell with their B team, he has now been promoted to the senior side,” the editors of Mirror stated in their profile of Awaziem.
“He made his senior debut in the Portuguese League Cup in January and made his league debut in February.”
A product of Junior Elkanemi Academy, Awaziem has been called up twice to the senior national team but has not made his international debut yet.
