Published: November 07, 2016
Allnigeriasoccer.com understands that FC Ifeanyi Ubah netminder Ikechukwu Ezenwa will not take part in victory celebrations in the wake of his team winning the Federation Cup on Sunday.
The goalkeeper is about boarding a flight to Abuja, having checked out of the hotel FC Ifeanyi Ubah players lodged.
The 28-year-old did not feature against Nasarawa United in the showpiece game because he was cup-tied, as he played for Sunshine Stars earlier in the season before his switch to FCIU.
He is the only home-based player that was included in the Super Eagles latest roster, and will have to convince Rohr that he merits a place in the starting XI on Saturday, ahead of foreign pros Daniel Akpeyi and Dele Alampasu.
FC Ifeanyi Ubah will remain in Lagos until Wednesday before returning to Nnewi in Anambra State.
