New Super Eagles Hero Victor Moses Switches Focus To Middlesbrough
Published: November 16, 2016
Victor Moses has emphasized that he is focused on the Premier League clash against Middlesbrough at the Riverside Stadium on Sunday evening.
All eyes were on the Chelsea wing-back during Saturday’s World Cup qualifier versus the Desert Foxes of Algeria, and he didn’t disappoint after he opened and closed scoring at the Akwa Ibom International Stadium.
Moses was playing on the wings when the season began, but has been deployed as the right wing-back in his last five games in the English top-flight, and has impressed with goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois posting shutouts in those matches.
“Great few days with #Nigeria ! Time now to focus on this weekend’s game against Boro #Chelsea, ” Moses tweeted.
The 25-year-old, who was originally a striker before moving to England, has featured 12 times in all competitions for the Blues so far this season and has registered three goals.
