Super Eagles striker Brown Ideye opened and closed scoring and was named Man of the Match as Olympiakos cruised to a comfortable 4-0 victory over Levadiakos on Sunday in the Greek Super League.
Ideye’s brace (48th and 74th minute) took his tally in the league to nine goals from ten appearances, and statistically he is the best striker in Greece, with Giannina star Pedro Conde far behind in second place with six goals.
A delighted Ideye dedicated the award to God in one of his tweets “ Very good performance, we are OLYMPIACOSð´âª all thanks to God for winning the MVP.”
If the Europa League qualifiers and the Kypello Elladas are included in the mix, Ideye has tallied 11 goals in 18 appearances this term.
After ten rounds, Olympiakos lead the way with 25 points garnered followed by Panathinaikos who have seven points less than the champions.
