Nigeria Midfielder Obi Misses Arsenal, Bournemouth & Everton Scouts
Published: December 07, 2016
Joel Obi missed the opportunity to showcase his skills when Torino faced off against Sampdoria in the Italian Serie A on Sunday, December 4.
According to Il Secolo XIX, representatives of Arsenal, Bournemouth and Everton were at Stadio Comunale Luigi Ferraris (Genova) to observe the most outstanding players in both teams with a view to a transfer.
Unfortunately, Obi is presently on the sidelines due to a muscle complaint and wasn’t involved in the game.
This season, the Nigeria international has missed two matches - against Fiorentina and Sampdoria - due to injury, while he was a non-playing substitute against Bologna and Udinese.
The former Inter Milan wonderkid is under contract with Torino until the summer of 2019.
