Iwobi Sacrificed As Arsenal Win Dramatic Game At The Emirates

Arsenal picked up three points, overtook Tottenham Hotspur and Liverpool and are now five points behind Chelsea following a dramatic 2-1 win over Burnley at the Emirates on Sunday afternoon.
At the midway point, the scoreboard was reading goalless but the Gunners had plenty of attempts to break the deadlock but couldn’t work the goalkeeper, with Alexis Sanchez the architect of everything that went well.
Arsenal finally found a way through in the 59th minute when Shkodran Mustafi netted his first goal for the club he joined last summer, heading home after receiving an assist from Ozil.
Alex Iwobi had to be brought off in the 69th minute as manager Arsene Wenger had to make a tactical change following the straight red card shown to Xhaka for a foul on Defour.
The visitors equalized in second-half stoppage time through Andre Gray, who converted his spot-kick, and the drama continued in the last minute when Koscielny won a penalty.
Alexis won the game for Arsenal with a Panenka penalty, his 15th Premier League goal of the season.
