Bartholomew Ogbeche To Miss Rest Of The Season With Ligament Injury
Published: January 25, 2017
Former Nigeria national-teamer Bartholomew Ogbeche has been ruled out of action for the remainder of this season.
The 32-year-old has been plagued by injuries since he joined the Eredivisie side from Cambuur last January, and the latest setback will keep him on the sidelines for six months.
Ogbeche suffered an injury against NEC Nijmegen and additional tests carried out revealed that he has torn a ligament in his knee, and he is set to go under the knife in the coming days.
The ex-PSG wonderkid has started only two games this season while he made 11 appearances off the bench, scoring against FC Groningen in October.
He has also represented teams in England, Spain, Greece and United Arab Emirates.
