Watford Provide Injury Update On Ex-Golden Eaglets Star Isaac Success
Published: January 26, 2017
Watford striker Isaac Success might resume full training with the first-team on Monday, January 30, ahead of the trip to the Emirates Stadium, where they face Arsenal.
The former Nigeria youth international has been on the sidelines for the past six weeks due to a hamstring complaint, but there is good news from the Hornets medical team regarding his fitness.
“The next two days are crucial. We are doing specific work on Success, both in the physio room and on the pitch and in the gym to avoid the risk of another injury, ” medical director Luca Gatteschi said to the official webpage.
“He’s working well. The last two days he’s had a good training load and been running without any problem.
“We have to test more in the next two days with very specific workloads and change of direction. We are very close to the end.”
This season, Success has eight Premier League appearances to his name and scored against Bournemouth in October.
