Published: January 30, 2017
Enugu Rangers General Manager, Paul Uzor, reiterates that he is unaware of reports in the foreign and local media which claimed that Nigeria U23 star Emmanuel Daniel is joining African club champions Mamelodi Sundowns.
With the transfer window in South Africa set to close for business in the next twenty four hours or so, The Brazilians must complete the signing of Daniel on Tuesday, however, Rangers have not been contacted regarding a transfer at this very moment.
“We have still not heard from Mamelodi Sundowns, I cannot give you any information I don’t know about, ” said Paul Uzor to allnigeriasoccer.com.
“His whereabouts, I don’t know. ”
Allnigeriasoccer.com understands that Enugu Rangers power brokers will hold a meeting on Monday, and one of the topics on the agenda is the sudden disappearance of Emmanuel Daniel from the club.
The Dream Team VI star told teammates last week he was traveling to see his family, only for reports to claim the goalkeeper jetted out of the country to undergo a medical with Mamelodi Sundowns.
