Rangers GM Christian Chukwu Reacts To Reports Daniel Has Agreement With Orlando Pirates
Published: February 04, 2017
Enugu Rangers new General Manager Christian Chukwu has reacted to reports that claimed Nigeria U23 netminder Emmanuel Daniel has penned a preliminary contract with South African powerhouse Orlando Pirates.
Yet to be confirmed reports from a source close to Rangers indicate that the Buccaneers have not made any official contact with the Nigerian champions over the signing of Daniel.
It has also been suggested that the goalkeeper ran out of contract at the Flying Antelopes at the end of last season, meaning he can join a new employer even when the window is closed, and Chukwu has vowed to clear the air in the next one week.
“I just resumed at Rangers yesterday, I have to go through Daniel’s file and find out the actual situation, ” said Christian Chukwu to allnigeriasoccer.com.
“It will be clear in the next one week. ”
