Young Striker Linked With Move To Wurzburger Kickers Agrees Terms With Portuguese Club
Published: February 05, 2017
Allnigeriasoccer.com understands that the promising striker Orji Maduka has agreed a deal with Portuguese setup Clube Desportivo Carapinheirense, who play in the Campeonato de Portugal Prio or third-tier.
If Orji’s work permit application is successful, the two-and-a-half-year contract which he has signed will be activated.
And this will bring an end to speculations surrounding his future with earlier reports linking him with moves to Würzburger Kickers (Germany) and FC VSS Košice (Slovakia).
The deal that took Orji Maduka to Clube Desportivo Carapinheirense was brokered by his intermediary, retired Nigeria international goalkeeper Abiodun Baruwa, who is now based in the United Kingdom.
Inserted into the attacker’s contract is an option to leave if he receives a better offer before the end of his contract.
