Published: February 23, 2017
Chelsea loanee Tammy Abraham has revealed that he is still targeting 30 goals in his first full season as a professional footballer.
The England U21 international is back at Chelsea undergoing treatment after picking up a thigh injury while representing Bristol City in a Championship tie against Leeds United on February 14.
“I set myself at the beginning of the year 30 goals, I am not too far. This injury, I might miss a couple of games, ” Abraham told the official website of Chelsea.
“I’m still aiming high and hopefully when I get back out there I’ll keep scoring more goals. ”
This season, Abraham has scored 21 goals in all competitions for Bristol City, and netted a brace on his full debut for the England U21 national team.
