Official : Ex-Chicago Fire, DC United Striker Igboananike Terminates Veria Contract
Published: March 02, 2017
Kennedy Igboananike has terminated his contract with Greek Super League club Veria by mutual consent.
The Nigerian striker, who also has a Swedish passport, severed his ties with Veria due to a personal issue.
The 28-year-old Igboananike had been linked with a transfer to former club AIK before making an under the radar transfer to Veria.
Djurgården, Vasalund, Chicago Fire and DC United were his previous clubs before his arrival in Greece.
His contract with Veria would have expired at the end of the 2016-2017 season if club and player did not agree to part company.
