The Super Eagles were visited by a very important guest during their last training session at the Hive Stadium on Wednesday evening before facing Senegal.
Allnigeriasoccer.com understands that former Everton, Middlesbrough and Blackburn Rovers star Yakubu Aiyegbeni attended the workout, and was sighted fraternizing with the players after training.
The Coventry City striker took a picture with the Super Eagles players and a delighted manager Gernot Rohr, his foreign assistant and the backroom staff.
Carl Ikeme was conspicuously missing from the group photo, which has fueled speculation that all is not well with the Wolverhampton Wanderers goalkeeper.
Now 34, Yakubu Aiyegbeni scored 21 goals in 57 appearances for the Super Eagles. He represented Nigeria at the 2010 World Cup in South Africa.
