FK Haugesund Striker Shuaibu Challenging For Top Scorer Award In Norway

Young Nigerian striker Ibrahim Shuaibu scored his first and second goal of the season in a thrilling 4-3 victory for FK Haugesund over Vålerenga in the Norwegian top flight on Thursday.
The 20-year-old doubled FK Haugesund’s lead in the 36th minute then grabbed his second of the game two minutes into the second half.
The former Giwa loanee notched his second assist of the two-week old season in the final minute.
The best three strikers in the Tippeligaen goalwise are Nigerians, Stabæk’s Ohi Omoijuanfo leads the way with three goals while Shuaibu and Strømsgodset star Tagbajumi, who have tallied two goals, are joint-second with five other players.
Shuaibu lasted the distance against Vålerenga for the second consecutive game.
