England U19s are within touching distance of qualifying for the Women’s Euro Under-19 Championship following their 2-0 win over Denmark at Arslan Zeki Demirci Spor Kompleksi, Turkey on Friday afternoon.
Watford sensation Rinsola Babajide was considered in the starting line-up for the Young Lionesses, and she impressed enough to remain on the pitch for the entirety of the game.
Two goals from Finnigan and Stanway in the second half condemned Denmark to their first loss in the Elite Round.
Babajide was a 65th minute substitute in England’s 3-0 rout of Turkey on Wednesday.
England face Czech Republic in their final game on Monday, knowing they will qualify for the tournament in Northern Ireland if they avoid defeat.
