Lukman Haruna Injured In Test Game For Odense Boldklub
Published: April 11, 2017
Lukman Haruna is unlikely to be offered a contract by Danish Superliga outfit Odense Boldklub after sustaining a thigh injury in a reserve team match against FC Copenhagen on Monday.
The Nigeria international was replaced by Yao after nineteen minutes as he had to leave the pitch due to the injury.
Odense Boldklub have stated that Haruna wasn't recommended to the club by Izunna Uzochukwu, though he was asked his opinion about the midfielder before his trip to Denmark.
The 26-year-old was once considered as one of the greatest talents in Nigeria and was the youngest player named in the Super Eagles squad for the 2010 World Cup in South Africa but has seen his career blighted by injuries in recent seasons.
Haruna has represented Monaco, Dynamo Kiev, Hoverla Uzhhorod, Anzhi Makhachkala and Astana.
