Nigeria Target Ilesanmi Predicts Better Days Ahead For Boreham Wood
Published: April 12, 2017
Boreham Wood star Femi Ilesanmi has opined that the highest position his team can finish in the National League is tenth with eleven points separating them from ninth-placed Macclesfield.
With four matches before the end of the regular season, the defender thinks they have had a good season though they won't be involved in the play-offs.
''Although we're not involved in the playoffs at the moment which is a shame we should still remember this year we have done well,'' Ilesanmi told nonleague.pitchero.com.
''There are a lot of big clubs in the league and we're growing still and the way we are run means there will be good things ahead in the future.''
The London native was handed a late invitation to train with the Super Eagles last month and took part in the practice game between the Team A and Team B at the Hive Stadium.
Ilesanmi will make his 40th appearance of the season in the league if he's selected to face his former club Dagenham on Good Friday.
