Arsenal In Talks To Seal Transfer Of Eupen Goal Machine Onyekuru
Published: May 22, 2017
Arsenal have reportedly opened talks to sign the prolific Eupen frontman Henry Onyekuru, 19.
Several teams in the Premier League, Belgium, Spain and Germany have been linked with a swoop for the striker, but the Gunners are hoping to steal a march on their rivals.
“Arsenal are in talks with Eupen for Henry (Onyekuru). That’s his dream club and he may now actualise his childhood dream to play for the club,” a source close to the player told SCORENigeria.
“They have contacted the Belgian club and the negotiations are underway.”
Onyekuru can be deployed in any position in the frontline and would be a good fit for Arsenal's 4-2-3-1 formation used earlier in the season.
West Ham, West Brom, Everton and Southampton are among the teams in the Premier League interested in signing Onyekuru.
