Sweden Identify Chelsea Striker Of Nigerian Descent As England's Biggest Threat At U21 EURO
Published: June 14, 2017
Chelsea striker of Nigerian descent Tammy Abraham will be a marked man when England take on Sweden in their opening game in the European U21 Championship on Friday, June 16.
Bristol City striker Gustav Engvall who is presently on loan at Djurgårdens IF has provided a lowdown on his former teammate, labeling him a good striker who knows his way to goal.
''He has made a fantastic season so we have to respect him. He is good. Doing over 20 goals in the Championship is good,'' Engvall said to Aftonbladet.
"He's a smart player, he scores a lot of goals and is good at finding the balls in goal.
''We have not talked so much. We talked a bit in Bristol that we might both come along and that it would be fun to play against each other. It will be fun to see him.''
Tammy Abraham showed the England faithful what to expect from him at the U21 EURO by scoring in the Young Lions 3-0 rout of Iceland in a friendly last weekend.
