Omeruo, Victor Moses, World Cup Winning Defender Train With Chelsea First Team
Published: July 10, 2017
Kenneth Omeruo, Victor Moses and World Cup-winning central defender Fikayo Tomori have started training with Chelsea's first team ahead of the forthcoming season.
Thirty players participated in the Blues first training session on Monday morning, including the three players of Nigerian descent, according to Chelsea expert CarefreeYouth.
Super Eagles manager Gernot Rohr will be delighted that Moses has resumed training after he was left out of the squad that faced South Africa in an African Cup of Nations qualifier last month due to an ''unconfirmed toe injury''.
It is unclear at this point if Nigeria target Ola Aina was at Cobham Training Centre today as he's reportedly close to finalizing a season-long loan move to Championship outfit Hull City.
Chelsea have three friendlies scheduled against Arsenal, Bayern Munich and Inter Milan during the pre-season.
