Liverpool picked up their fourth win from five pre-season games following their 3-0 rout of Hertha Berlin at the Olympiastadion Berlin on Saturday evening.
On his first start for the Reds, England U20 World Cup star Dominic Solanke needed only fifteen minutes to break the deadlock when his header beat goalkeeper Jarstein.
Liverpool's dominance of the game was rewarded with another goal scored by Wijnaldum seven minutes before half-time.
Former Golden Eaglets trainee Ovie Ejaria played his first game of the pre-season after coming off the bench to replace Emre Can 12 minutes into the second half.
Record signing Mohamed Salah added a third for Jurgen Klopp's side just after the hour mark after he was fed by Philippe Coutinho.
