Iwobi Gives His Opinion On Two Arsenal Stars On The Radar Of Man Utd, Man City
Published: October 09, 2017
Arsenal main men Mesut Ozil and Alexis Sanchez continue to be linked with a departure from the Emirates as from the winter transfer market after failing to extend their contracts with the London club.
Arsene Wenger's side finished fifth in the Premier League in the 2016-2017 campaign and are targeting a return to the Champions League.
Nigeria international Alex Iwobi reckons that their chances of qualifying for the competition will be reduced if the duo depart Arsenal.
''When they are fit they are unstoppable. They are both capable of changing a game — or a season,'' Iwobi told The Sun.
''They have a big decision to make. But it would be a huge setback to lose them because from the stats you can see we do need them for their goals and assists.
''For a team like Arsenal, we need to be aiming for the top four and we need what they bring.''
The Arsenal number seventeen added : ''It will be great for them to stay. I’ve learnt a lot from them. Just the opportunity to even train with them has been amazing. They are two top-class players with great experience having played at the top level.''
Whilst Manchester United and Inter Milan are closely monitoring the situation of Ozil, Chile winger Sanchez is on Manchester City's wish list.
