Man Utd, Man City Watched USA U17 Star Of Nigerian Descent Akinola Vs India

Manchester United's talent spotters are presently in India observing some of the outstanding youngsters in the world in the ongoing 2017 Fifa U17 World Cup, as per reports.
Two talented Nigerian players in Toronto FC's Ayomide Akinola and Tottenham Hotspur's Timothy Eyoma are representing the United States and England in the competition.
A representative from the Red Devils witnessed USA's 3-0 win over hosts India on October 6, a game Akinola featured for 66 minutes and came close to scoring a beauty just past the hour mark.
It has been strongly suggested that United's scouts were at the stadium to run the rule over Indian number eleven Komal Thatal.
According to Scouts In Attendance, Manchester City are presumably scouting every game at the Fifa U17 World Cup, but it is confirmed that the Citizens scouts were present for the India vs United States game.
Kelechi Iheanacho and Kelechi Nwakali penned contracts with Manchester City and Arsenal respectively after winning the Golden Ball award at the 2013 and 2015 U17 World Cup.
