Young Nigerian Winger Named To EFL Team Of The Week After Notching Three Assists

Promising Nigerian winger Hakeeb Adelakun has been named to the EFL Team of the Week for 17th-19th November.
The Scunthorpe United wonderkid was named the most outstanding left wing-back in the English Football Leagues on the back of his imperious display against Northampton Town on Saturday, November 18.
Adelakun provided three assists as The Iron scored three second half goals to secure a 3-0 win at the Sixfields Stadium.
The winger had netted the winner when both teams met in an FA Cup replay exactly a week ago.
Born in Hackney, England, he spent his formative years at Crystal Palace and West Ham United before joining Scunthorpe United in 2012.
When he made his professional debut against Tranmere Rovers on 29 December 2012, he became the club's youngest player at the age of 16 years and 201 days.
