Fifa Ranking: Fifa Confirm Super Eagles Are 50th Best Team In The World, 8th In Africa

Football governing body, Fifa, on Thursday morning published its latest ranking of National Teams.
Compared to their position the previous month, the Super Eagles have dropped nine places and now occupy the 50th position while they are eighth in the continental ranking, as previously reported by allnigeriasoccer.com.
Senegal,Tunisia, Egypt, Congo DR and Morocco are the top five teams in Africa in that order.
Our rivals to book a ticket to the next African Nations Cup - Libya, South Africa, and Seychelles - are placed 77th, 81st and 189th in the global ranking.
In the global ranking, 2014 World Cup champions Germany lead the way followed by Brazil, Portugal, Argentina and Belgium.
The year end ranking will be published by the official website of Fifa, fifa.com, on 21 December 2017.
