Hat-Trick Hero Nmecha Explains Why He Struggled In First Half Vs Tottenham

German-born Nigerian striker Lukas Nmecha has explained why he struggled during the first half of Manchester City's clash versus Tottenham Hotspur in the Premier League 2 on Saturday.
City recovered from a two goal deficit to beat their London opponents 4-2, with England U19 international Nmecha grabbing his second hat-trick of the season in the second half.
''I thought we played well as a team. But for me, I thought I played very badly in the first half,'' Nmecha told mancity.com.
“I was feeling my right hamstring as quite tight in the first half but the physio sorted me out in half time, and I came back to score the goals!
''I had a word with the manager at half-time and he told me to work hard, so I did that and definitely had a better second half.''
Lukas Nmecha's hat-trick against Tottenham took his tally for the season to eight goals in 6 matches in the Premier League 2.
