Three Nigeria internationals with close ties to Premier League champions Chelsea in the shape of Victor Moses, Ola Aina and Kenneth Omeruo are in line to represent the Super Eagles at next summer's football festival in Russia.
Nigeria will face two-time world champions Argentina, Croatia and Iceland in the group stage of the 2018 World Cup.
In their review of the World Cup draw held on Friday, the official website of Chelsea noted that Nigeria are in a difficult group.
''Nigeria, for whom Victor Moses, Ola Aina and Kenneth Omeruo are possible Chelsea representatives, have been drawn in a tough group alongside regular World Cup foes Argentina, debutants Iceland and also Croatia.
''Mario Pasalic, currently on loan at Spartak Moscow, will hope to be in the East European’s squad.''
Both Victor Moses and Kenneth Omeruo have World Cup experience under their belts, the striker played two matches at the 2014 tournament in Brazil while the defender made four appearances.
Former England U19 skipper Ola Aina only made his senior debut last month against Zambia.
