Nigeria Player of the Year Victor Moses is in the running for Chelsea's Man of the Match Award in Saturday afternoon's clash against Newcastle United at Stamford Bridge.
Chelsea have officially shortlisted four players that featured against the Magpies for the awards, the others being Eden Hazard, N'Golo Kante and Alvaro Morata.
In his first start in seven weeks for the defending Premier League champions, Moses was influential, providing an assist for his side's second goal and forcing a penalty for the third as Chelsea brushed aside Newcastle 3-1.
With five minutes left on the clock, the number fifteen came close to opening his account in the English top-flight this season but his effort was blocked.
As at the time of this report, 3, 716 Twitter votes have been cast to pick the most outstanding player, Moses is presently in second place with 18 percent of the votes and he's ahead of Morata (17 percent) and Kante (14 percent), while Hazard is first with 51 percent.
Moses made his eighth Premier League appearance of the season against Newcastle United.
