Leicester City Agree With Chelsea: Nigeria Face A Stern Test To Reach World Cup Last 16

As many as seven Leicester City players in the shape of Kasper Schmeichel, Kelechi Iheanacho, Wilfred Ndidi, Ahmed Musa, Harry Maguire, Jamie Vardy and Shinji Okazaki are in contention to represent their respective countries at the 2018 World Cup.
In their review of the World Cup draw that took place in Moscow on Friday, Leicester City and Premier League rivals Chelsea are on the same page, with the Foxes informing their Nigerian stars that they face a difficult task in their bid to qualify for the last sixteen after they were draw in Group D alongside Argentina, Croatia and Iceland.
''Over in Group D, Kelechi Iheanacho, Wilfred Ndidi and Ahmed Musa face a stern test after Nigeria were handed a campaign consisting of Argentina, Iceland and Croatia, '' wrote Leicester City on their official website.
''The Super Eagles kick off their World Cup Finals involvement against Croatia on June 16 in Kaliningrad, before taking on Iceland in Volgograd on 22 June and finally Argentina, who Iheanacho scored against last month, on 26 June in St. Petersburg.''
In the last edition of the World Cup, Ahmed Musa entered the Nigerian history books when he netted a brace against Argentina, becoming the first Nigerian player to score two goals in one game in the mundial.
And on November 14, 2017, Kelechi Iheanacho had the game of his life, scoring one and creating two goals as Nigeria came from behind to beat Argentina 4-2 in a friendly.
