Manchester City have announced that prolific Nigerian striker Lukas Nmecha has penned a contract extension tying him to the club until 2021.
The German-born talent made his professional debut for the Premier League pacesetters in their win over Leicester City in the quarterfinals of the League Cup in December.
''I’ve loved the Club since I moved over here from Germany and have been here for many years, so I really feel part of it,'' Nmecha said.
''It’s a privilege to get this contract and I’m really happy to have signed.
''I’ve been here since U10s and I feel like the Club have really put their trust in me so I just want to go out and show what I can do.''
This season, Lukas Nmecha has scored 9 goals in 9 appearances for City's U23 team in the Premier League 2 and EFL Trophy.
The England youth international joined Manchester City at the age of nine.
