Son Of Ex-Enugu Rangers Star To Start Against Chelsea In FA Youth Cup

Three players of Nigerian descent are in line to feature for their respective clubs when defending champions Chelsea trade tackles with Birmingham City in the semifinal of the prestigious FA Youth Cup on Wednesday, April 4.
While Tariq Uwakwe and Faustino Anjorin are expected to travel with the Blues squad to B9 4RL, allnigeriasoccer.com understands Nicholas Okoro will be named in Birmingham City's starting line-up by manager Steve Spooner, if their final training session is anything to go by.
The 16-year-old Okoro helped Birmingham City qualify for the fourth round of the FA Youth Cup, scoring in their 2-1 win at Bristol City and made the match day squads against Sheffield United and Bury.
Chelsea defeated Scunthorpe United, West Brom, Tottenham Hotspur and Fulham to reach the last four of the competition, scoring 19 goals in total and conceding none.
The spotlight Nigerian teenager that will be on parade at St Andrew's tonight is Faustino Anjorin, who has notched two goals in the competition this season.
Nicholas's father Ejikeme Fabian Okoro represented famous Nigerian Professional Football League side Enugu Rangers.
The attacking midfielder had earlier pledged his international future to Nigeria but was later called up to England U15 squad, which he couldn't refuse.
