Man Utd Linked Striker Dubbed The New Zlatan Ibrahimovic Has The World At His Feet
Published: May 04, 2018
It must be brought to reckoning that Norwich City most prized Nigerian asset, Adam Idah has had quite a banner year for the club's U18s which has culminated in many breakthroughs for the youngster.
Aged just 17, the talented striker has already courted interest from Manchester United who have likened him to their former striker, Zlatan Ibrahimovic and at a time was even attracting attentions from top English clubs, his tender age notwithstanding.
His rise to prominence has been breathtaking, catching the eye for the Canaries with a treble in the FA Youth Cup win over Barnsley earlier this season, and has been a prolific scorer for the U18s, scoring 15 goals in all competitions for them this term.
He has long been promoted to the club's U23s during the season run-in where he has taken in six appearances and it is well expected that he could be afforded a first team feature for the EFL Championship club.
Just recently, his awe-inspiring contribution for much of this season was recognized by the club at the annual awards night where the former Douglas Community School student made nearly a clean sweep of Norwich City youth awards, taking home both the U18 Player Of The Year and Academy Player Of The Year.
The goal poacher has been named in Republic of Ireland U17 squad for the 2018 U17 Euros but is still eligible to represent Nigeria if the grandfather rule is invoked.
