He Must Leave : Gent Show Super Eagles Winger Moses Simon The Exit Door
Published: August 01, 2018According to reports in Belgium, KAA Gent have declared Super Eagles winger Moses Simon surplus to requirements this season, meaning he must find a new team before the close of the transfer window or rot in the reserves.
Het Laatste Nieuws says Simon is no longer needed in Gent's first team which contains 38 players including the not yet departed Ricardo Avila.
The truth is that the former AS Trencin star is the architect of his own misfortune as he had earlier approached Gent he wanted to be transferred this summer and the club's higher-ups had assured him they won't be a spoilsport.
With his absence at the 2018 World Cup due to injury, he is lacking genuine suitors despite reports linking him with English Premier League and German teams.
This website understands that Simon's agents keep promising him that they have a buyer ready to sign him, but they always come up with a different story at the last minute.
He has played nonstop at Gent since January 2015.
