European Clubs Turn Their Attention To AS Trencin Super Talent Nicknamed New N’Golo Kante
Published: August 07, 2018Allnigeriasoccer.com understands that top Belgium clubs along with Ajax Amsterdam, OGC Nice, Marseille and Borussia Mönchengladbach have turned their attention to one of the biggest talents in Slovakia, AS Trenčín's Abdul Zubairu.
The extremely mobile midfielder was recently rated amongst the best talents in Slovakia by Fortunaliga alongside ex teammate Hilary Gong, who completed a move to Dutch club Vitesse Arnhem
The Nigerian wonderkid who opted to depart the shores of Nigeria despite interest from the youth national team has drawn serious interest from several European clubs due to his immense talent and defensive similarities to Chelsea's World Cup-winning midfielder N’Golo Kante.
A box-to-box destroyer, Zubairu is also blessed with playmaking abilities and is capable of initiating attacks and creating opportunities with his vision.
Trencin are understood to have slapped a hefty price tag on the player, having recognised that they have unearthed a precious diamond.
Zubairu hails from the famous GBS Academy in Nigeria which produced the likes of Ahmed Musa, Samuel Kalu, Moses Simon and many more.
Trencin are currently studying offers received in respect of the midfielder and according to a source close to the 19-year-old, his agent Tony Harris has already informed Zubairu that a transfer is very imminent.
