Aston Villa Lining Up Move For Chelsea Whizkid Of Nigerian Descent
Published: August 14, 2018EFL Championship side Aston Villa are exploring ways to sign England U21 star of Nigerian descent Tammy Abraham, according to reports.
The Daily Star claims Villa boss Steve Bruce is planning a raid on the Premier League - and has three top stars in mind for a loan deal, including Tammy Abraham.
The 20-year-old striker took part in all Chelsea's pre-season matches but manager Maurizio Sarri did not consider him for a bench role in the club's Premier League opener against Huddersfield Town last weekend.
Earlier reports before the transfer window closed on August 9 had suggested that Abraham will turn down a loan move and stay back at Stamford Bridge to fight for a first team shirt.
And with Belgium star Michy Batshuayi recently completing a season-long loan move to Valencia, Abraham's chances of getting game time have improved as he is now the third choice striker behind Alvaro Morata and Olivier Giroud.
He previously spent time on loan at Bristol City and Swansea City.
