Official: Denizlispor Mutually Terminate Contract Of Super Eagles Star Without Compensation

Turkish ‎First League side Denizlispor announced on Friday that they have mutually terminated the contract of Nigeria international Gbolahan Salami.

The Super Eagle was originally signed as a free agent barely eighteen days ago and departs without making a single appearance for The Roosters.

''During the last days of the transfer period, the player Gbolahan Salami's contract between us has been mutually agreed and terminated without compensation,'' Denizlispor tweeted.

Salami's contract with the Turkish second-tier club would have expired at the end of the 2018-2019 campaign if the two parties had honored the agreement.

He had previous stints at Sunshine Stars, Shooting Stars and Warri Wolves before transferring to his first foreign club, KuPS in Finland, in February 2016.

Denizlispor occupy the fourteenth position in the standings after four rounds in the 1. Lig.
