Injured Nigerian Striker Ruled Out Of Leicester City's League Cup Match Vs Wolves
Layton Ndukwu will not make his professional debut for Leicester City when they take on Wolverhampton Wanderers on Tuesday evening in the third round of the Carabao Cup.

Foxes manager Claude Puel has strongly hinted that he will make some changes to the starting lineup but there will be no debut for Ndukwu as he is currently on the sidelines.

Leicester City confirmed after the U23s 2-2 draw with Brighton & Hove Albion at Holmes Park on Monday that the young Nigerian striker sat out the game as a result of injury.

The 20-year-old has not figured for Leicester City in the Premier League 2 for more than three weeks, with his last appearance coming against Derby County on September 3.

He had been tipped to make his first team breakthrough this season after he was named in the matchday squad against Tottenham Hotspur on the final day of the 2017-2018 campaign.

Nigeria duo Kelechi Iheanacho and Wilfred Ndidi are available for selection against Wolves.
