Versatile Nigerian Defender Nets Maiden Goal For Arsenal U23s In Win Against Leicester
Arsenal extended their unbeaten run in the Premier League 2 to six matches following a 2-1 victory over a strong Leicester City side at Holmes Park on Monday evening.

Four Nigerian teenagers started for the Gunners. Tolaji Bola was deployed at left back spot, Tobi Omole and James Olayinka were the two holding midfielders while Bukayo Saka operated on the left wing.

Arsenal number four, Omole, gave the visitors the lead with 20 minutes gone on the clock, tapping from close range past goalkeeper Jakupovic following a short corner routine.

It was his first goal for Arsenal U23s in his fourth appearance in the Premier League 2, his last goal for the North London club came against Swansea City U18s in February 2017.

The Foxes pushed for an equalizer and were rewarded in the 30th minute when Callum Wright scored with a right-footed shot from inside the box.

On 61 minutes, Robbie Burton converted a penalty to make it 2-1 after Tolaji Bola was felled in the box by Wright.

Folarin Balogun and Joseph Olowu were not utilized off the bench by Arsenal U23 manager Ljungberg.
