Photo Confirmation : Manchester United Central Defender Completes Move To Blackburn Rovers
Published: January 04, 2019Promising central defender George Wyatt has ended his association with Premier League side Manchester United after completing his move to Blackburn Rovers.
The 15-year-old had to move onto pastures new after he was informed by the Red Devils hierarchy that he was not among the teenagers to be offered a scholarship ahead of the 2019-2020 season.
Clubs have to send decisions of who they are giving new contracts to the
English Football Association by March 2019, so clubs have to sort
themselves early.
George Wyatt was at the Manchester United Academy for eight years before his departure.
He was a member of the Red Devils U15 team at the 2018 edition of the Super Cup NI Junior section, playing in the showpiece against County Antrim.
