FC Barcelona Escola Wonderkid Receives Call Up To Nigeria U17 Squad Ahead Of AFCON

FC Barcelona Escola Varsovia Football Academy wonderkid Kelechukwu Ebenezer Ibe-Torti has received a maiden call-up to Nigeria's U17 National Team ahead of the 2019 Africa U-17 Cup of Nations.

The 2002 born player will be observed at close quarters by the Golden Eaglets technical crew led by Manu Garba during the team's get-together in Abuja.

Allnigeriasoccer.com understands that the training camp is tentatively scheduled to begin sometime next week.

A couple of other foreign based youngsters are expected to train with the Nigeria U17s with a view to their inclusion on the 21-man roster.

Bournemouth U16 goalkeeper Joseph Oluwabusola was part of the Golden Eaglets squad that won the WAFU-UFOA Zone B qualifiers in September 2018.

The 2019 U17 AFCON will be held in Tanzania 14–28 April and five-time world champions Nigeria will face the hosts, Angola and Uganda in the group stage.
