In the EFL Championship, Chelsea loanee Tammy Abraham has now tallied 19 goals in the league alone after netting a brace as Aston Villa defeated Ipswich Town 2-1.

The England U21 star latched onto a beautiful free-kick delivery to open the scoring in the 6th minute and made it 2-0 after converting a spot kick just after the hour mark.

Elsewhere in the second-tier, Super Eagles defender Semi Ajayi's first league goal of the season was not enough as Rotherham United were beaten 2-1 at home by table toppers Leeds United.

Still in League One, ex-Aston Villa youth-teamer Nathan Delfouneso was on target in the 47th minute as Blackpool registered an impressive 2-0 road win against Coventry City.

The former England youth international headed in from close range to give the Seasiders a 1-0 lead.

In the Belgian First Division A, there were two goals to report, both scored by former Golden Eaglets, Flying Eagles and Dream Team strikers.

Liverpool loanee Taiwo Awoniyi made it two goals in as many game after putting the ball in the net in the 90th minute as Royal Excel Mouscron claimed a 2-1 win over league leaders Racing Genk at the Luminus Arena (Genk).

Wolfsburg loanee Victor Osimhen took his tally to double figures after finding the net in the 59th minute as Sporting Charleroi and Waasland-Beveren shared the spoils with a 2-2 draw at Stade du Pays de Charleroi.
