New Monaco Coach Wants Emenalo Out As Campos Is Tipped To Replace Ex-Chelsea Transfer Guru
Former Chelsea Technical Director Michael Emenalo is on the verge of being given the boot by the Monaco hierarchy and this has led to speculation that Lille's sporting director Luís Campos will return to the Principality club to take charge of recruitment of players and scouting.

According to French sports daily L'Equipe, one of the conditions Leonardo Jardim gave before penning a two-and-a-half-year deal is the sacking of Emenalo as they don't have a good working relationship.

Campos worked at Monaco as sporting director and technical director between 2013-2016 and is set to be reappointed even though his relationship with Jardim is complicated.

Monaco decided to part ways with former Arsenal and France forward Thierry Henry following a poor run of results and after only three months in charge.

Emenalo has been criticized for selling top Monaco stars without signing adequate replacements and his failure to bring in young players with high potential.

The 53-year-old, who represented Nigeria at the 1994 World Cup, arrived Monaco in November 2017 after ten years of hard work at Chelsea
