Goalkeeper
Daniel Akpeyi (Kaizer Chiefs): Akpeyi was between the sticks to help Chiefs to a 1-1 draw with Polokwane City at the Peter Mokaba stadium in the PSL.
Defenders
Kenneth Omeruo (Leganes): Omeruo marshaled the defensive line for Leganes in their 1-1 draw with Valencia at the Estadio Municipal de Butarque in a Spanish La Liga game.
Semi Ajayi (Rotherham United): Seasoned Championship campaigner Ajayi struck a late goal for United to help salvage a draw versus Reading at the Madejski stadium.
Emmanuel Aiwu (Admira Moedling): The young full-back helped beat FC Wacker Innsbruck 3-0 with a goal in the 35th minute at the BSFZ-Arena in the Austrian topflight.
Ola Aina (Torino): The Chelsea loanee was impressive for The Maroons as they beat Chievo 2-0 at the Stadio Olimpico in the Italian topflight.
Midfielders
Mikel Obi (Middlesbrough): The experienced midfielder pulled the strings from deep as Boro beat Queen Park Rangers 2-0 at the Riverside stadium in the Championship.
Alex Iwobi (Arsenal): Iwobi was yet again influential as Arsenal beat Southampton 2-0 in their Premier League game at the Emirates.
Iyayi Atiemwen (Dinamo Zagreb): Atiemwen got in among the goals as Dinamo beat Osijek 3-0 at the Stadion Maksimir in a the Croatian HNL.
Strikers
Karim Onisiwo (Mainz): Onisiwo opened and closed the scoring for Mainz who toppled Schalke 04 3-0 at OPEL ARENA in a German Bundesliga cracker.
Freddie Ladapo (Plymouth Argyle): Ladapo scored a brace in his team's 5-1 trouncing of Rochdale in a League One game at the Home Park.
Taiwo Awoniyi (Royal Excel Mouscron): The Liverpool loanee continued his impressive goal scoring record for his side, tallying his fifth in his last six as they overcame Sporting Lokeren 1-0 in the Belgian topflight.
