Arsenal Star Elneny Headlines Egypt Roster For Friendly Vs Nigeria, Salah Omitted

Coach of Egypt national football team, Javier Aguirre, has released a 25-man roster for the Africa Cup of Nations qualifier against Niger and international friendly with Nigeria next month.
Liverpool striker Mohamed Salah will not be part of the team traveling to Asaba as he has been left out of the squad along with West Brom defender Ahmed Hegazi.
Arsenal star Mohamed Elneny is the most eye-catching name in contention to face Nigeria and it would the midfielder's third appearance against the Super Eagles in three years if given a runout, having gone the distance in two AFCON qualifiers in March 2016.
A total of six foreign-based professionals have been summoned for the matches, including Karim Hafez (Kasimpasa), Ali Ghazal (CD Feirense), Mahmoud Hassan (Kasimpasa), Amr Warda (Atromitos) and Ahmed Hassan Kouka (Olympiacos).
The squad contains four goalkeepers, eight defenders, ten midfielders and three strikers.
