Round up of the Nigerian players that were on target for their clubs in matches across Europe on Saturday, March 9.

We begin in the EFL Championship. Sheffield Wednesday winter recruit Dominic Iorfa scored his second goal for his new employer as they shared the spoils with Derby County at Pride Park.

The former England U21 star rescued a point for the Owls when he powered home a header in the 57th minute.

Two divisions lower, ex-Manchester United youth-teamer Nicholas Ajose headed home to make it 2-1 in the 61st minute as Mansfield Town were beaten by Port Vale at Vale Park.

In the Portuguese Segunda Liga, central defender Junior Pius netted the game-winner for Pacos de Ferreira after 66 minutes as they registered a 1-0 win vs Benfica B. He scored through a header.

Over to the Fortuna League in Slovakia, teenage striker Emeka Umeh struck in the 68th minute as AS Trencin lost 4-2 to Zemplín Michalovce. It was his third goal in all competitions this season.

In the Hungarian top flight, 2015 U17 World Cup-winning striker Funsho Bamgboye was the star of the show as MSzombathelyi Haladás came from two goals to beat újpest 3-2.

The 20-year-old halved the deficit in the 62nd minute and went on the score the winner five minutes later.
