Official : Ex-Flying Eagles Dazzler Owoeri Joins New Team In China
Former Flying Eagles dazzler John Owoeri has joined a new team in China for the 2019 campaign.

Owoeri's intermediary, Martin Dahlin confirmed via Instagram that his client will wear the jersey of newly promoted Chinese League One club Inner Mongolia Zhongyou in the new season.

The 32-year-old made his competitive debut for Inner Mongolia Zhongyou as they were beaten 1-0 by Sichuan Longfor on the opening day of the season on Saturday, March 9.

Last season, Owoeri turned out for another Chinese League One club Shanghai Shenxin, for whom he scored 9 goals in 26 appearances while providing four assists.

He previously represented Baoding Yingli Yitong, BK Hacken, åtvidabergs FF, Ismaily, Feyenoord and Westerlo.

Nigerian strikers Daniel Chima (Heilongjiang Lava Spring), Aaron Samuel (Sichuan Longfor) and Dominic Uzoukwu (Beijing BSU) are on the books of Chinese League One clubs.
