Confirmed: Aalesunds FK Announce Capture Of Super Eagles Midfielder

Through a statement on their official website, Norwegian First Division club Aalesunds FK confirmed that they were successful in their attempt to sign Nigeria national-teamer Izunna Uzochukwu before the close of the transfer window on Monday night.

Aalesunds FK have disclosed that the central midfielder has put pen to paper on a deal that will run out at the end of the 2019 season and he joins the club as a free agent.

''He is a player with an impressive CV. Almost 200 games in Danish Superliga. Grown up in the academy of Central Jutland. So he has gone to a good school,'' head coach Lars Bohinen told AaFK's official website.

''He is a central midfielder with a good working radius, good passing and skilled one against one defensive.

''He will need some time to get into our system, and to get some training, but this is a nice addition to our squad.''

A product of FC Ebedei, Izunna has played for FC Midtjylland, Amkar Perm, OB and Meizhou Hakka in the past.
